Business Development Managers use a consultative approach in delivering custom supply chain solutions to clients with $1million + in freight spend annually. As a Business Development Manager with BlueGrace, you'll be responsible for prospecting within verticals, making connections with decision makers internally and turning those into trusted relationships.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals
  • Prospect using various methods including cold calls, networking, referrals, social media.
  • Delivers sales presentations to key prospects
  • Meets with key clients
  • Coordinates liaison between sales department and customer service/operations
  • Average sales cycle is 6-12 months, candidates are expected to proactively maximize their time through multitasking

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience
  • Exemplifies abilities to exceed sales goals by overcoming obstacles
  • Assertive, Passionate, Consultative, Competitive
  • C-Suite comfort level
  • Enthusiastic drive to succeed with obvious confidence and competitive nature
  • Bachelor Degree or combination of experience and education
