  • Prepare and record standard journal entries in the general ledger (GL) for recurring transactions, including accruals, deferrals, prepaids, depreciation & amortization, etc. in accordance with applicable GAAP guidance.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations for assigned GL accounts and resolving reconciling items on a timely basis.
  • Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process by completing assigned tasks within established deadlines and communicating open items to the Accounting Supervisor.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
  • Maintain supporting schedules and workpapers for financial statement line items, ensuring documentation is organized and audit-ready in accordance with internal control standards.
  • Respond to inquiries from operations and management teams regarding GL activity.
  • Support internal and external audit requests by gathering documentation, pulling GL detail, and preparing reconciliations as directed.

  • Adhere to BlueGrace's accounting policies and internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the reliability of financial reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet recurring deadlines in a high-volume close environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively within the accounting team and with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement in accounting processes.
