This role is responsible for managing LTL carrier procurement efforts, rate negotiations, rate analysis and rate interpretations.  This role will be responsible for interpreting the rate responses received from carriers and producing a simplified format for presentation to internal teams and will be tasked with supporting the overall sales process.      Duties and responsibilities:  - Manage LTL carrier procurement efforts and rate negotiations for the contractual business segment  - Analyze data from various sources and input into a simplified format for review  - Compile information necessary to perform Request for Proposals including scrubbing data, running reports, rate analysis and response assessments  - Communicate effectively with other departments within BlueGrace to support the overall sales process  - Effectively understand and interpret costing implications and their associated downstream impacts  - Work with large amounts of information and use deductive reasoning to predict outcomes  - Maintain existing reports to track progress and look for improvements  - Perform ad-hoc projects as requested  - Perform audit and testing functions as needed to ensure rate accuracy  - Other duties may be assigned as needed   Qualifications:   - Bachelor’s degree required  - Knowledge of the LTL and TL industries  - Strong interpersonal skills  - Effective communicator  - Strong project management capabilities  - Analytical thinker with creative tendencies  - Possess a sense of urgency and attention to detail  - High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, most importantly Excel  - Ability to effectively manage a wide variety of tasks simultaneously and often with time conflicting pressures  - Demonstrated ability to work productively and effectively in a team environment  This position is located in Riverview, FL and does not provide relocation.
